Welcome to MoroccoNaut! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the MoroccoNaut mobile application, operated by UBCG SARL.

By downloading, installing, or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our app.

2. About the Service

MoroccoNaut is a comprehensive travel companion application designed for visitors and residents of Morocco. Our services include:

• Tourism Information: City guides, attractions, and cultural insights
• Booking Services: Facilitating reservations with third-party providers
• Safety Features: SOS assistance, emergency contacts, and real-time alerts
• Community Features: User reviews, stories, and recommendations
• Offline Access: Downloadable guides and maps
• Multilingual Support: Available in English, French, German, Spanish, and Arabic

3. User Eligibility & Account

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use MoroccoNaut. Users between 13-18 years old must have parental or guardian consent.

Account Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

You may use MoroccoNaut for:

• Personal, non-commercial travel planning
• Accessing tourism information and guides
• Making legitimate bookings and reservations
• Sharing authentic travel experiences and reviews

Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the app
• Use automated systems or bots to access the service
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

5. User-Generated Content

MoroccoNaut allows users to submit reviews, photos, stories, and other content. By submitting content, you:

• Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content
• Confirm that you own or have rights to the content you submit
• Agree that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• Understand that we may remove content that violates our guidelines

6. Bookings & Transactions

Third-Party Services

MoroccoNaut facilitates bookings with third-party service providers (hotels, tour operators, restaurants, etc.). When you make a booking:

• You enter into a direct agreement with the service provider
• The provider's terms and conditions apply to your booking
• MoroccoNaut acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the provider's services

Payments

• All prices are displayed in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) unless otherwise stated
• Payments are processed securely through Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe, or PayPal
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by each service provider. Please review their policies before booking.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of MoroccoNaut are owned by UBCG SARL and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our Intellectual Property

• The MoroccoNaut name, logo, and branding
• App design, interface, and user experience
• Original content, guides, and editorial materials
• Software, algorithms, and technical infrastructure

Your License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MoroccoNaut for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations

Service "As Is"

MoroccoNaut is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Information Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content in the app. Travel information can change rapidly.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Moroccan law, UBCG SARL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute arising from these Terms:

1. Informal Resolution: Contact us first to attempt to resolve the issue amicably
2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation
3. Arbitration: Unresolved disputes may be submitted to arbitration under Moroccan law
4. Jurisdiction: The courts of Marrakech, Morocco shall have exclusive jurisdiction

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the app
• Sending a notification through the app
• Emailing registered users

Your continued use of MoroccoNaut after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
